The change of seasons is the perfect opportunity for a man to change up his looks. In addition to sporting earthy fall colors, corduroy pants make their annual appearance. Corduroy is an ultrasoft material with a bit more heft to it than other cotton fabrics. To create this distinctive fabric, fibers of cotton are twisted into parallel lines of ribbing, or cords, creating a unique textile. The "wale" of corduroy refers to the number of parallel ribs per inch. Fat-wale and thin-wale men's corduroy pants are both prevalent, and choosing which to wear is a matter of personal preference. Some "cords" resemble chinos in their cut while others are crafted in a five-pocket style similar to jeans. Our selection includes flat-front casual slacks that can be paired with sportshirts and sweaters for a smart casual look. These pants come in a wide range of colors and receive the same attention to detail our designers put into all of our pants. For example, unlike many corduroys, ours is crafted from 98 percent cotton and 2 percent spandex to add a bit of stretch to the fabric. We also offer pleated corduroys that are a great choice for office attire or stylish socializing.
