You have the right to opt-out of having your personal information sold. Under certain state laws, this is defined as us receiving some form of payment or other value in exchange for providing your personal information to a non-affiliated third party.
You also have the right to opt-out of having your personal information shared for targeted, or cross-contextual, marketing purposes.
To effectuate either or both of these rights, please review the steps below.
Opting out of the Sale of Personal Information
We only sell personal information, as defined under applicable state law, to network advertisers who use cookies to collect your personal information to then perform targeted marketing on other sites or platforms. You may opt-out of the sale of your personal information by turning off these marketing cookies. To do so, go to the “Targeting Cookies” tab on the left. By default, the cookies are “on” which is noted by the blue dot in the upper right-hand corner of that tab. To turn off these Targeting Cookies, click the blue dot which will slide the dot to the left and turn it gray. Then click “Save Settings” at the bottom left of this pop-up box.
Please note that if you clear your cookies, as described further in our Privacy Policy, you will need to return and turn off Targeting Cookies again.
Opting out of the Sharing of Personal Information
Certain states allow consumers to opt out of having their personal information shared across non-affiliated websites or platforms. This ‘sharing’ provides consumers with more relatable and pertinent advertising; however, we understand that some consumers do not want their information shared for this purpose. To turn off sharing for targeted marketing purposes, you must complete two steps, as sharing occurs through the use of cookies and through additional marketing processes offline.
- Step 1: Follow the steps outlined above, under “Opting out of the Sale of Personal Information”
- Step 2: Complete the webform available at this link and complete a request to “Opt Out of Sharing.”
