With its pinched sides and flexible brim, the fedora is a versatile hat that can be manipulated to fit the style you are going for, and can be worn with nearly any type of clothing.
Bowler
Though the bowler hat is often associated with a long topcoat and stuffy British culture, its roots in the working class position it as a more casual topper than, say, a homburg. The stiff, round dome allows the bowler to be durable, appropriate for a variety of occasions, and practical for a range of climates.
Ascot
An ascot cap gives you warmth and comfort without sacrificing style. Characterized by a stiff brim and a rounded shape, ascots pair best with semi-formal attire. The hat should fit comfortably on your head with the brim protruding slightly out from your face.
Homburg
The homburg is a close relative of the fedora, though it is typically dressier, and pairs best with a suit or formal attire. It lacks the pinched sides, and has a slightly upturned lip all the way around. The homburg is the perfect hat if you are looking for a more formal, classy look.
