About Me Classic, Stylish
Comments about Jos. A. Bank Heritage Tweed Herringbone 2-Button Sportcoat:
Sleeves too long by 1.5 inches. Patches on sleeve are of the same fabric as jacket. looks cheap if noticed at all.

About Me Classic, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish
The material is very nice but it was cheaply put together ! The elbow pads were not were they should be!! They were fore arm pads, The elbow pads were same fabric as coat!!and the pattern did not match UP!! The buttons looked cheap and were not sewn on straight!! if they had left the elbow patches off or gone with sued I could have had the buttons replaced !!

Classic jacket, runs large
from Arcata, CA
About Me Classic, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish
This is a beautifully constructed jacket, nicely tapered. It is one of the few that needed no alterations. (I usually have to have things taken in at the waist.) It runs a bit large. Usually I wear sports jackets at 42 or 44, but 41 was just right for me in this jacket. (I'm 6'1", 180 lbs, slim but rather broad-shouldered. I tend to prefer relaxed rather than body-hugging fit.)The style is slightly "boxy," with shaped rather than soft shoulders, but it makes a fine silhouette. I now own all four colors, and they make up my standard wardrobe, both dressed up for work with a collared shirt and sometimes tie, or casual with a sweater and/or long-sleeve T-shirt.These jackets often go on sale–worth waiting for!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

By Tom elbow patches
from Washington, DC
The jacket is very nice but I was very dissapointed to see that the elbow patches were not suded but rather the made from the same material and color as the jacket. Whats the point?
