I seldom wear a suit, so I was looking for a versatile color and style that would be appropriate for many occasions. This suit is a nice weight for my climate and is comfortable to wear. All in all, it is a good value whether you wear a suit daily or just on special occaisions.

Service and delivery comments:

Ordering online and delivery were fine. However, when I went to a local Jos. A. Banks store for alterations I ran into a little issue. The sleeves on the jacket are too long. The salesman measured the sleeve to the hem and pronounced them to be the right length. It may be the standard sleeve length off the rack, but the sleeves are still too long on me. I only had time to have the pants hemmed before I needed to wear the suit so I didn't make an issue of it, but they will be shortened when I take it back to have the pants altered. It might have been good to know approximate alteration turn around (typically two-weeks in San Antonio, TX) when I placed the order online. Maybe add a note in your stock descriptions to check with the local store for alterations timeframes.

I was surprised at how nice it was for mail order. Suit wears well and looks great.

The biggest frustration on buying suits from this company is identifying the material color and pattern. I can't find the style I prefer at my local stores, so I have to order online, but it's very difficult to get an accurate sense of what the final item will be like. After buying several suits this way, the results are generally good, only one has had real issues with construction-that one has both a collar that's not quite set correctly and tendency to lose buttons. But overall, the suits generally satisfy my needs.

Ordered 4 suits on line...3 of 4 came in fine; while the other came without being tailored as requested; had to take the order to a local store to complete the order...ready in 20 minutes.
