I've owned a pair of these for over ten years and have been so impressed with the brand that Allen Edmonds are all I buy now. Keep getting them re-soled and, once, about five years ago, recrafted and redyed. I simply love these shoes. Comfortable. Stylish. Quality leather and soles. The quality comes at a premium, but they are well priced compared to others of their quality.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

• Q:

  Is this the same quality as other balmorals from AE, such as the Park Avenue, Strand, Fifth Avenue, etc.? Also, is it built on the same last as those other shoes (same fit in length, width, etc.)?
  
  If I'm buying a shoe for the same price as the shoes I can get from AE, I want to be sure it's the same quality, etc.
