The blazer is as nice as the one I bought from Joseph Bank many years ago (in a different size). Fits well and looks nicely tailored.

The fabric is as advertised but as with most Jos A. Bank suit and sport coat jackets this one tends to be cut on the small side.

In black this is a beautiful jacket! The portly size is a perfect fit for my husband. I bought the same coat in camel color for my sons (not portly) and returned them for the black. The material in the camel color seemed too thin, but looks rich in black.

The sport coat was purchased to be used as a coat I could wear in the car as a mid temperature driving over coat, yet still be able to use in the conference room in meetings that day. The portly size was needed to accommodate my arm length, the sleeves are a bit shorter on a portly jacket. I used the Jos A Bank store front to showroom the coat to fit for my exact size. They did not have the size I needed in the retail store, so I then ordered the exact size I needed from the internet, sent with free shipping. I like the jacket. The dry cleaner commented on it being a nice coat when I first brought it in to be cleaned, referring to the fabric it is made of which is very comfortable and soft to the touch. It serves the utilities for which I purchased it, an office coat that I can use in mild weather as an overcoat. The size runs true to fit, it was an exact 50 portly.
