Fantastic fabric, beautiful color. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the the fit in the armpit is tight when I raise my arms. It isn't a big deal to me because there are few sportcoats that I don't have this problem with due to my build. My plan is simply to take it to a tailor and have it fitted. Otherwise it is a great sportcoat. I love it, and can't wait until it gets cool enought to wear.

To get a sport coat of this quality at JA Bank's sale price was incredible. Also after I received the jacket I decided I wanted to change colors and the sales people at one of the Louisville stores made the exchange very easy. I've shopped with JA Bank before and will be back. Thank you.

A very nice blazer

Overall, the fit and finish on this blazer is very good to excellent. Living on the west coast it is a perfect weight jacket for our mild winter weather. The brown color really paired well with other shades of brown. I was able to dress it down with nice jeans too for a flight. The sale price was simply unbeatable too.

Q:
I'm a school teacher and generally wear casual pants/dress pants with a nice casual shirt or dress shirt to school but I'm in the process of upgrading my wardrobe with different sportcoats. I've purchased a wool navy and a wool dark gray sportcoat. I've been looking at your sportcoats/blazers online and am wondering what is the best material for a sportcoat? Cashmere, camel hair, wool, etc.? I don't wear sportcoats much and honestly don't know that much about them and I also don't own a suit and am interested in purchasing one for funerals and special events. Can you help me?

  For an all purpose sportcoat that can be worn year round we would recommend wool. Cashmere and camel hair are popular options in the cooler months, while poplin, seersucker and silk blends are great for the summer. Thanks for your question.

Q:
I was told by a Jos sales rep that sleeves on camel hair coats could not be let out. Is this accurate? My sleeve length is 38 so a 46XL has to be let out all the way typically. Thanks.

  From a make stand point it can be let out, but the issue is from the fabric that you might have a crease line from the fabric if you let it out and this might not be able to be pressed out. Thank you for your question.
