I bought a black jacket, and a brown one, just over two years ago. Last week I purchased my third. The shade of the brown jacket is dark chocolate. There is no zip out lining. It is a lightweight jacket that (in Massachusetts) can be worn in perfect comfort from spring to fall, although I wear it all winter too by layering up. 50 degrees and below will require more than just a T-shirt underneath.
There a three inside pockets, two on the left one on the right. The top left has a snap closure while the bottom is a small phone pocket. The leather is smooth/soft brand new, but gets extremely supple with use. Don't take that to mean that the leather is a scratch magnet, it isnt at all. It is actually very hard to harm this jacket. I've rubbed against concrete, been snagged by thorns, and worse and the coat still looks brand new.
I'm six feet tall and weigh about 180. I always buy large and no exception here. The sleeves come down over my wrist bone, and the waist is a few inches below the belt. If I wanted a military fit I would need the medium. I know how to condition and dress leather, so this is worn in snow and rain with no ill effect.
Two more things to know...The description used to include "New Zealand" before "Lambskin", now it doesn't. Also, the jacket is made in China.
Overall, an exceptional coat.

Timely delivery and good packaging. There were no creases in the leather jacket. I ordered the "small" size and it fit perfect. I usually buy clothing items in the "medium" size but I never had good luck with leather jackets in the medium size, which were always too big in the shoulders and long in the sleeve length. The "small" took care of all that and made a perfect fit for me. Classical, handsome styling in a leather jacket. Thanks!

I'm a big guy, so I was worried about buying the right size. I'm 6'4 and 245 lbs. I went with the XXLL and it fits great. The leather is so soft and it smells great. The coat gets softer each time I wear it. The coat arrived quickly after being ordered and was packaged nicely.

My only complaint about Jos A Bank is that the Big and Tall size coats aren't available in the store to try on.

Bought this jacket for my son and he loves it. For the price ( when it was 70% off )
Was a great deal. Quality seems to be very good and fits him well. My son is 13 years old so what 13 year old wouldn't like a leather jacket.
ONE THING, made in CHINA, now that was a bummer when I saw that.
if I would have known that, I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I did notice that on there web page it did state something to the fact it was imported.

Did a lot of shopping around (in store and on line) and this coat won the prize. I've been a Jos. A Bank fan since 1985.

The reviews i read sealed the deal for me. I wanted top quality and Jos. A Bank will deliver. I never worry with Jos. A. Bank. They are very service oriented.

I have had this jacket for two years and although it is still soft, supple and warm, the black finish is wearing off. Even with light use (I live in Houston), the area next to the zipper is showing lighter colored leather as the black is gone. Further, the black has actually rubbed off on the tan upholstery of my car! I confirmed that this by wiping the coat with a wet paper towel, which turned black.

It has a cell phone pocket which is great, plus 2 other pockets.
The fabric is soft, "Just like butter"
