Excellent Class of Suits
from New York, NY
I've purchased many suits in my day, but the JAB signature gold, is in a class above the rest. This suit speaks volume, well tailored and wears extremely well. I love wearing them to work or any function. Gentlemen, you can't go wrong owning one of these fine suits.

I notice many reviewers complain about the unsewn buttons. A properly fitted suit would have to have the sleeve length tailored for almost all men so the buttons if sewn on would have to beremoved and sewn back on anyway. Having the buttons separate is a convenience for the customer - at least for the ones who refuse to wear a fine suit with the factory sleeve length - which for most men is wrong.

Fine Suit, Best Fit
By Businessman--the CEO
from San Diego, CA
This is how suits should be: finest fabric, impeccable tailoring, pick-stitching, exact fit with separate jacket/trousers so that one can easily get two pairs of perfect fit trousers (one with cuffs / one without!). Buttons should come unattached as these do, because then the sleeve can be tailored to the correct length before the buttons are sewn on (rather than snipping buttons off--with attendant slight thread hole in fabric--for proper repositioning of them after adjusting sleeve length) And, the working button hole option is superior.

Sleeves are Without Buttons
What they are still not telling you is that the sleeves have not been finished. You cannot wear the jacket until you take it to a tailor for the sleeve buttons to be attached or for "working buttonholes" and buttons to be attached.

Buttons Not Attached
The suit jacket arrives with a little bag of buttons for you to have attached, with or without buttonholes. This is not the jacket as pictured. Finding a tailor to affix the buttons is inconvenient, and convenience is the advantage of ordering online. I have submitted a review similar, but I do not see it here, so I will try again.

No Buttonholes as Shown
The photos for this garment show working buttonholes and sewn-on buttons. Be advised, the jacket arrives without these. The buttons are unattached and included in a plastic bag within the garment's inner pocket. One must seek out a tailor to have the buttons sewn on, or to have buttonholes and buttons added. If you, like me, are ordering online because their is no Jos. A. Bank store near your home, you will have to drive someplace with a tailor to get the jacket wearable.

Very Nice Suit Jacket
This lighter wool fabric has a nice hand and drapes well, just right for the South. The suit jacket in dark charcoal gray is a great classic to wear anywhere.

beautiful suit; no buttons
By Suits me well
I buy almost all my suits from Jos. A. Bank. I have progressively upgraded over the years and now only buy Signature or Signature Gold. I appreciate the unfinished sleeves, but expected loose buttons that could be attached.
Good clothing confusing service
By Lee the golfer
from Cumming, GA
The good was what appears to be a good quality suit at an good price. The bad was it took me several days to enter an order due to the store telling me they could match the web price and finally could not. I wanted to order more stuff but didn't because of my frustration just getting one suit ordered. Then that order was back ordered. And this was my first real transaction with JAB.
Service and delivery comments:
The delivery was too long due to the suit being back ordered. The product condition was good even though the jacket arrived several days after the pants.
