Purchased the Blackwatch for a formal event. The jacket was lightweight, with subtle design and easily matched formal trousers. The rear vent needed to be closed for a better fit, and the arms narrowed for aestetics. A VERY nice garment.

This is a beautiful, unique way to make a formal fashion statement. I own three tuxedos already, but was looking for an interesting alternative for formal functions. This jacket is gorgeous (a little darker, though, than it appears in the picture), well-made, and a great value.

The fit was perfect. The finish on this wool jacket is outstanding. Even the pockets have a satin trim line on the outside which is a pleasant accent making this very high end looking. You'll find a hundred occasions where this jacket will be just right to wear. Yes I am pleasantly surprised on just how nice this looks and the quality. Going to a wedding in a formal tux? Then use this as the reception jacket- everyone will remark over the sharp change which remains formal but with flair. This is a 10 and you won't be sorry purchasing it.

The fit was good out of the bag, so-to-speak. I had the sleeves lengthened a bit (which I need done on most jackets regardless of brand), but otherwise the fit was nice. People really liked it at the party I wore it to recently; it's a fun twist on the usual black-tie look.
