pants had hole in them

Comments about Jos. A. Bank Traveler Washable Wool Solid Plain Front Pants:
I bought these pants for work, and the first time I put them on to wear them I noticed the seam on the leg was coming unstitched. So I can't say I'm impressed with the quality so far.
Great gift for my husband and sons.

About Me Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic
I purchased 3 pairs of the washable wool trousers for Christmas gifts. All three of the receivers were pleased with their gifts. We will find out about the washability of the trousers when a washing becomes necessary. Since it is a Jos. A. Bank item, we anticipate nio problems and the slacks will be as advertised.
Great pants!

I have been a long time buyer of the Jos A Bank Traveler twills to wear for work. They have been great but at times I need a dressier pant. Previously that meant a $5 dry cleaning bill every time I wore my wool dress pants. Not any more! These wash and look great. Only wish they would come in more colors.
Good Pants

I wear this product to work daily, and I feel that the pants are of good quality, true to fit, and the washable wool (with permanent crease) are great. The sewing seems to be of decent quality.
Complementary to Heritage Tweed
By Tim
from Hebron, Ohio
About Me Bargain Shopper, Casual
Ordered the pants on line to complement a heritage tweed coat that I also ordered on line. Received the coat that fit perfectly, but given an advancing waistline I needed to return the pants. Rather than return on line I decided to return to a retail store about 40 miles away when I traveled to the area. I couldn't have been treated better at the retail store. The waist I needed was not available but the salesperson ordered the appropriate pair for me and provided them to me at the sale price. While there I purchased another pair of slacks and three shirts. I have always been pleased with the merchandise, quality, and service
Nice pants!

I wear these pants as part of my work uniform. I get chalk all over myself during a day of lecturing, so I need something I can just throw in the wash at the end of the week, every week. These pants are a godsend in that respect: They look fresh-from-the-cleaners every morning. It's worth it to buy enough to have a fresh pair every day and just do laundry on weekends.I'm actually a woman, so I will comment on the fit as one: If you are a woman wishing to invest in these pants, use your natural waist measurement (smallest circumference of your abdomen, not where you want the pants to sit) and your desired inseam while wearing your usual shoes. I usually take a "curvy" misses' size 8 (30" waist, 38" hips, 29" inseam in flats) but these pants fit great, not tight in the crotch like some ladies' slacks. They wrinkle a bit across my lap if I have been sitting for a while, but otherwise they stay remarkably crisp. Good-bye, obscene tightness! Hello, pocket space! The pen pocket and change pocket-in-a-pocket are nice touches. You never see that level of thought towards utility in women's clothes. The reason why I rate them at four stars rather than five is because of the material. It is really rather itchy on the inside. I wish they had a lining at least to the knee, whereupon trouser socks could take over. A partial lining could also help the shape: Even with enough length to make a good break in the front crease (31" inseam for me), the Traveller crease tends to make the pant hang narrowly at the ankle, which makes one's hips look bigger. Furthermore, the material is a tad thin. I wanted wool to help stay warm in my chilly office, but my old cotton pants were cozier. A lining would help them be more winter-appropriate, but I suppose I'll just get some long-johns.It's a good idea to keep a sticky roller around if you wear these. In black, they seem to attract every bit of light-colored lint within ten feet, but they release said lint easily to the sticky roller. Overall, I adore them. They're a great value and enormous convenience; I just wish they had a lining or half-lining.
I like the way they look and feel but

they were much longer than the 29 inch length I ordered. I had to have them altered. Also I think I'll stick to slacks that require dry cleaning. I tried washing them but couldn't get the wrinkles out. Nice color. They were delivered promptly and placed on the porch out of the view of curious passersby.
Review on Traveler Washable Wool Pants
By John
from Charlotte, NC
I am a Director for a Fortune 50 Company. I like to dress well. I have looked for years for washable wool slacks, since Dry Cleaning charges in my area are very high. I have not been disappointed in these slacks! I plan to purchase several more pairs.
Best "Dress" slacks I've ever owned!

About Me Classic
Can't say enough about these slacks.Very crisp, look great, travel well!Wash & Dry!.. no dry cleaning...They are sold by waist size & inseam.. (29" for me, which is hard to find)...not outseam, which doesn't work well for me.Pricey, for sure... but I've seen them "on sale" for 60-70% off... be on the lookout...You won't be dissatisfied (at any price)...
