I liked the pants, they seem very comfortable and quality seems nice. However they run at least 2 sizes small in the waist. At least! I wear a 32x32 in nearly every single pant I have ever owned. I ordered a 32 waist for these pants and it's probably closer to 28. It doesn't fit. I checked the tag twice to make sure I didn't get shipped a wrong size.

Really nice linen pants. Sizing is a little hit and miss: ALL of these seem to run about 1 size smaller than labelled around the waist. BUT the stone color lengths have been true to size for me. I liked these so much I ordered another pair in blue (indigo?) and it was at LEAST 1" shorter, so I don't know what I can tell you (both lengths worked for me as I like my pants a bit long, so taking an inch off left them still do-able).

I'm a big fan of JAB's performance linen shirts and shorts, so trying out the trousers seemed to be a natural choice. I am glad I made the purchase. The material for the trousers is, to my hand, a heavier weight than many other linen products. While some may be turned off by this, it helps the pants to maintain a better look (as well as to be a bit more sturdy). They are now a regular part of my summer wardrobe.

I thought these linen pants would be nice and light for summer. Instead it was a thick, heavy fabric. I know linen is supposed to breathe, but these would be just too heavy to wear in hot weather. I returned them.

I have no complaints about the product's quality - I wouldn't be able to judge it, and it was promptly shipped and well-packed. I cannot blame my own girth on JAB, but I own and purchase pants from a variety of manufacturers, and the others all fit well in this waist-size. These pants were far too tight for me. Additionally, I had purchased linen for its light fabric for summer wear; these pants were heavy. I am sure that for those who seek this materials, they will prove comfortable.

Customer service on the phone was fine. My return was becuase the slack size was mis-marked, one size on the waste band tag and another on the inside. The phone rep ordered my exchange pair and it was delivered. My only complaint is then when I returned the mis-marked pair another pair was shipped so now I have 2 exact same slacks and need only one.

The cut is for portly men

The cut is certainly not flattering if you are anything close to athletic or slim in general. Each pant leg could fit 2 of my legs inside them and I am 6'1 and weigh 175 (so not skinny but certainly not fat). Jos A Bank should begin paying attention to the cut of their pants (and clothes in general) and accurately describe them. If accurately described, I would never have purchased them. JosABank simply baited me with a price reduction and I took it (my mistake and it won't happen again).
