As stated by other reviewers, sizing is a tad small. I returned two pairs of 40w in favor of 42w. Now that they fit well, they feel great! Drape, hand, breathability--all top notch.
BTW, the exchange process worked pretty well, if a bit absent reassuring confirmations and explaination of what to expect. I had to pay the shipping back to JAB, but they picked up everything else, including the hemming.

Product is awesome. I was really distressed to see the same pants offered 10 days later for 50% less than I paid for them. JAB had NO sympathy or recourse.

However, on my previous purchase, the merchandise that I ordered (2 pairs of pants), I believe, was defective. Both pairs of pants became discolored around the knee areas after 3 or 4 washes. Also, the crease did not hold off as well as I had anticipated.

Other than that, I am generally satisfied with my business dealings with Jos. A. Banks.

I have also bought merchandise at Jos. A. Banks' Tampa, Florida store.

To Chuck in Charlotte, i had a similar problem with the pricing, the local store was VERY receptive to my concern, they gave me credit for difference since i was able to produce my reciept; the computer system mischarged me,by no means an intentional act by JAB.This is a fantastic pant, breathes very well,and has clean, crisp lines.

I like the texture and appearance of the fabric. However, I receive an email today and the same trouser is now [$]. Your advertising borders on being very deceptive and inconsistent. I am supposed to be a valued private customer, however, some of your pricing to all last week was reduced more.Your regular pricing may occur once a season and after that it is almost comical how you promote.

I like everything except they run slightly smaller (1/2 inch) in the waist compared to other JOS A Bank Signature Pants.

I tried these pants on in the store. I usually wear a 36 waist, but had to go to a 38 in these. Needed to be taken in about 1/2 inch, so a 37 1/2 is about the same as a 36 waist. That really doesn't bother me unless I had ordered my normal size online. I like the lightweight wool fabric and the cut is relaxed, but not baggy.
