This is a gorgeous, luxurious coat. Yes, it is roomy, but not unattractively so. I wear a size 42 suit, and I purchased a 42 coat. I can sit while wearing this coat buttoned up over a suit, something I can't do with a smaller coat. I compared it to a size 42 designer wool coat, and this coat is considerably larger, but the roominess and longer length of this coat gives it an expensive look. The wool feels very thick and soft compared to other wool coats. I live in SC, but I bought this coat for business trips to Washington DC where I'll be proud to wear it. All in all, a great coat.

We ordered the same coat size as suit coat size, per Jos. A. Bank's suggestion. This coat is absolutely huge! My husband wears a 46 and we had to return and get a 44; that also was huge, we have settled on a 42. Very nice wool and looks very sharp. Just VERY large!

I enjoy wearing this overcoat, as it is warm and stylish. I like its subtle herringbone pattern and the location of its pockets.

I bought a 40R to match my suit size. Although I now wear a 42R, my overcoat still fits. I would recommend buying this coat to match your suit size, though.

I love this overcoat. The soft fabric, herringbone pattern, and charcoal gray color give it a bit of distinction compared to regular solid-color black or gray overcoats.
Another thing I like about this overcoat is the pockets. They are roomy and located where your arms and hands naturally fall.
My suit size is 38 regular. However, I bought this overcoat in size 40 long because I wanted a bit more fullness and length. It's very comfortable (and flattering).
