I was delighted with all aspects of the purchase.
Delivery was prompt. Quality of the Harris Tweed sportscoat is excellent. Fit (44 reg.) was perfect! (I'm 5'11" 200lb.) I really like the versatility. Can easily wear with jeans or casual dress pants. Olive color is subtle, so along with the intertwined grays and browns, it goes with a variety of different color shirts and pants. And to top it off, I got it at an outstanding price.

A botton was missing from the right-arm sleeve. Should have had 4 buttons on each sleeve, but the right sleeve only had 3. So, I just cut a button off the left sleeve to make them match, other than that, it is a great coat for the cost.

I got the blue colored tweed sport coat in my usual 42 long (I'm 6'4", 200 pounds), and it is a good fit (although I always would like just a smidge more in the sleeve, but if I go up a size, sport coats are usually too long). It is woven of genuine Harris Tweed wool from Scotland, although manufactured in Asia (aren't they all now?) This is a pretty heavy wool, amazingly warm for a sport coat, so perfect for autumn and early winter here in N. Virginia without need for an overcoat. Service from Jospeh A. Banks was very fast. I got it online for [$] (lists for $499).

Excellent, traditional Harris Tweed with the official Harris Tweed patch on the inside and everything, but runs VERY large. I'm a 42L in Jos Bank jackets so I ordered a 43L to give me some extra room to wear sweaters underneath. I looked like David Byrne in Stop Making Sense - it was borderline comical how big this thing looked on me. When I returned to the store even the salesperson commented that it looked as if I was a kid who was wearing my grandfather's jacket. Don't order up a size.

Looking for a casual jacket to wear with jeans and this fits the bill. Nice fit, great price. I did have to wait ahwile for the product to ship because the item was on sale and out of stock.

It is a great jacket, you really can't see how beautiful the fabric is in the pictures but it looks great in person. I haven't had it long so I can't comment on the long term durability but the construction seems good.

This Harris tweed sportcoat met all my expectations. The fit was correct, the detailing all one could expect. Although the buttons are plastic, they can't be told from leather a couple of feet away. I'm glad to contribute to Haiti's economy as well, by purchasing this sportcoat.

But JAB had genuine Harris Tweed herringbone on sale for much less. I would like to have some of the unusual colors and weaves available from the Hebrides, but not at that price!

What we love about this sport coat is the Harris Tweed heritage of quality. I have owned two others over the last three decades and loved them both. There is something about knowing this jacket that makes it worth owning. This one is the first for my son, and he enjoyed showing it off at church; him in his olive and me in my brown tweeds.

I own several of these Harris Tweed jackets and I love them all. They are my "go to" jacket for daily wear when the weather turns cool. Very high quality. A classic look that goes with anything from jeans to khakis to dress pants, although I generally wear this jacket for a look that leans more casual. A must-have!

If there is anything I would suggest as an improvement, it would be the addition of an inner pocket for a smart phone, like the Signature and Joseph jackets have.

The fit (46L) is excellent for my 6', 225 lb frame. It is cut well and relatively roomy in the chest area (I'm a geriatric gym rat that loves to lift so that is important.)
Only caution I can give you on this is that when you think you have removed all the price tags, don't forget to look for the one under the collar. It hides really well. I didn't find it for two weeks.

I've already worn the sportcoat to work and to a Fall event in the country. It works well with dress pants or with jeans, and I've received compliments. In addition, it kept me warm on a windy day. I also like to wear it rather than a jacket because the interior pockets allow me to keep my glass case and my cell phone conveniently at hand.
