I ordered nine of these shoe trees for my shoe collection. I have a huge collection of very nice shoes and don't trust just any shoe trees. I have been disappointed more often than not. The thing I like most about these trees is that they're sturdy as all get out. There was no skimping on the cedar in their design. They have a pleasant shape, and a bulky, substantive heel-piece with a striking JAB nameplate. They are easy on the eyes--and nose of course.

I wear a men's 12, and I ordered XLs, and they are a bit big. I probably should have ordered a couple of L's just to see which size is best, but I can live with the XLs. They're spring-loaded, so they do have some give. If you're borderline US 11.5/12, I'd order equal numbers of both and return the inadequate ones.

I ordered these on Dec 21st and got the last shipment of them in mid-Feburary. Apparently, they were on back-order, though I got no notice as such. I called about three/four weeks after placing the order and was told by an obviously otherwise occupied customer service tech that they were on back-order. She was neither polite nor interested in my satisfaction. The whole conversation took a few seconds--I got the feeling she wanted me off the phone as quickly as possible. The trees slowly started to trickle in one by one over about a three week period, having been shipped from stores all over the country. Ultimately, my only real concern is that I was not pro-actively notified of the delay/back-order. I am satisfied with the product, though the service was certainly lacking.

This words as described and function properly. The weight of the individual shoe treet makes it seem like its made out of cheap material, but as I said, it works fine.

Shoe trees prevent your shoe leather from creasing, and will ensure that your shoes will retain their shape.

While not the best shoe trees money can buy, these are good quality for the price point (particularly if you get them on sale).

These do run on the big side, which is a good thing; but if you are on the edge between sizes, I recommend sizing down unless you wear wide width in shoes.

If you have expensive shoes then you need to protect your shoes by harvesting the fruits of this shoe tree. The shoe tree is well built. Has a terrific cedar scent. Will help to retain the shape of your shoe. A must have item!

Transaction and quality of these cedar trees were very good. Gave 4 out of 5 stars bc I have to exchange for smaller size. Please note that these run BIG, so when you go to order, get the next smaller size down from your actual shoe size. Wish this was stated somewhere. Other than that, very good!

For the money and quality, it doesn't get any better, IMO. I've had more expensive trees and they worked no better than these from J. A. B. I saw on some reviews that the edges were ruff. Well, I haven't ever had a shoe tree that I didn't soften up before use. I sanded the edges and ruff spots, and I couldn't be happier. FTR, you should lightly sand and clean your shoe trees every other year, so that they will have a good cedar smell once again.

I went to the store on Pleasant Hill Rd., and I was very happy with the service. For my visit Nese and Donald were very helpful, and even though I was late they still had my items still waiting.

...the head of the shoe tree fits past the 'neck' of the shoe. Wasn't an issue for most of my shoes, but for some the head refused to go through without a fight, and my fear of eventually damaging the shoe led me to use my other pair that can expand/contract instead.
