Check your size, poor construction

Comments about Jos. A. Bank Black Shawl Collar Tuxedo Jacket:

One thing to note is that this is cut larger than other Jos Bank coats I've worn. I normally wear a 43R with the sleeves shortened, but in this jacket, a 42S fits better (and still needing to have the sleeves shortened).

However, I'm not sure that I'm going to bother. The seams of this coat (as well as the peak collar equivalent that my brother got) are all puckered. My mother noticed it from a few yards away, so it's not like it's subtle.

If you get it on sale like I did, it might be worth it, but "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Both tuxedo's are 100% wool, but the Signature tuxedo is described as "superfine wool". Thank you for your question.
