These pants are lightweight and feel great, even after a long day. The pleated style is most common in stores and does hide items in your pocket from showing, but at the cost of creating a slightly baggy look around the crotch region. Also, if you're looking for a slim cut, these are not your pants. I wear a 32x30 and find them to be a little loose (i.e. baggy) compared to the Traveler Tailored Fit style. If you're looking for quality dress pants, try a pair of the Signature collection to at least compare. The quality of the fabricate is much better than the rest and in the end, that was all it took for me, as I want to be comfortable in dress clothes as well as look good.
