If you've got a bit of a belly as I do, keeping your pants up and your shirt tucked in when wearing a belt is a Sisyphean task. Braces/suspenders are the only way to go.

These are dressy enough to wear with a suit, yet casual enough to wear with more casual clothes. That said, nobody should see your suspenders anyway, keep 'em concealed with a jacket or sweater at all times.

The little bit of stretch they have is nice.
